About

I am a writer, journalist, and communications expert based in Florence, Italy. After graduating from Queen Mary University of London with a degree in French, I made the leap from the UK to the "most beautiful city in the world" (ask any Florentine) in 2018.

My professional journey began with an internship at the Collezione Peggy Guggenheim in Venice, followed by a Masters in Cultural Heritage Management at Palazzo Spinelli. During my masters, I interned in the Educational Department at Centro Pecci in Prato while simultaneously reporting on Florence as an Editorial Assistant at The Florentine.

From 2019 to 2024, I served as Social Media Manager at Galleria Continua. In 2023, I taught a Fashion, Media and Communications course at Florenceā€™s International Studies Institute to study abroad University students. I am currently a Content Writer at Polimoda, Florence's Fashion School, where I hold the role of editor for the school's online magazine, the Journal.

I speak fluent Italian and English, with a professional level of French. My expertise encompasses writing, editing, video editing, social media management, communication strategy, translation, and managing personal and professional relationships.

I am available for freelance writing, translating, teaching and editing commissions focused on art, culture, and travel. To discuss potential collaborations, please email phoebeand41@gmail.com.
